Moonlight Fae:
A good-night story creature does exist. The Entelorn Fae have been fighting a massive, dangerous war for centuries against the Disori Fae and only Ocean, the Entelorn Fae of Water, has the power to end it.
Lesigenet: the Andromedian Earth:
Aliens from another galaxy visit the Milky Way to observe the Sun. When they pass Earth, their radio transmissions pick up some of the radio waves. After they are done examining the Sun, they visit planet Earth out of curiosity. The humans aren't expecting this at all and mistakenly think that the Lesigenet's are trying to take over Earth.
Moonlight Fae
The moonlight comes through my window as I lay down to sleep. It does not touch my body as I shed tears. The silence I cannot prevail over the sadness within my heart. My tears cease as a sound comes from my window. I crawl out of bed to investigate. Outside the glass is Daren. I climb out the window and into the blackness outside. Daren greets me and takes me over to his car. We drive out of the city to the quiet country. We run through the dark hills of grass and flowers, laughing. We lay next to each other as we stare at the twinkling stars above us. Soon, he falls into slumber and I walk through the rolling fields alone. I catch a glimpse of the moon peeking behind a cloud. As it's light touches my body, delicate wings sprout from my back; my eyes change from hazel to a deep blue; the hair upon my head changes from an auburn to a dark blue; my jeans and shirt fade away to nothing but a blue-green dress attached to my shoulders. I rise up into the air. Higher and higher. I see Daren sleeping below. I produce dust from my fingertips and blow it at him as I fly away into the dark night. A blue glow guides me over the forests and rivers. I see other moonlight fae going my way. A small different colored glow is in a clearing. I land gracefully and walk to the largest fae there, Life. He nods as I spread my wings and bow my head. His unique white glow passes over me to the fae behind me. I stay in the bowing position until every fae present has bowed to Life. The yellow glow of my friend Wind lights up my pale blue face. Soon after the red glow of Heat and the green glow of Flower are in my presence. Together we fly to the nearby water. Sitting on it, since fae cannon sink being so lightweight, we converse about our human lives.
“How is that human of yours, Ocean? Tell us of his ways.” Heat, the Fae of Fire, says in our Entelorn tongue.
“Daren? He is well. Extraordinarily intelligent, handsome, entertaining.” I reply. Wind’s air bells tinkle as the lake’s small waves move. I focus on making the water still. The tinkling stops.
“Have you made any interactions with him?” Flower, Fae of the Earth, asks me.
“I have.” I can feel my blood, which is blue on fae nights, rush to my face, making a blue blush. I don’t continue as they clearly want me to.
“Oh, come out with it already!” Wind exclaims.
“Well, he kissed me…” I quietly say. My face gets bluer. Heat’s red lips curve into a smile.
“He knows you are a Moonlight Fae, I assume.” He says discouragingly.
“Not entirely,” I hesitantly reply. “He knows I must come here, to the country, every full and new moon and that I must come alone but he doesn’t know why.”
“You aren’t going to actually tell him are you? Not without turning him first, right?” Flower quickly says.
“I don’t know. I want him to be with me forever, but I don’t know if he wants to become a fae. Since he was born human, he has a choice, you know. He’s not like us, born into it.” I sigh and look at the heavens above me. I can feel the water start lapping at my legs, reflecting my mystified mood.
“Ocean…” I turn towards Wind. “If you love him like you say you do, he deserves the truth.”
I look into her yellow eyes, surrounded by her lengthy blonde hair. I can feel Heat’s energy spreading to us.
Rising into the air, I say “You’re right. I’m going to go tell him.”
“He’s here?!” Flower exclaims floating next to me.
“Yes, he’s sleeping half a mile away from here.” I fly in the direction Daren is in. My friends follow suit.
“Aren’t you going to transform first?”
“He should see me the way I really am.” I say as I speed up.
“But it is forbidden!” I hear Heat yell after me. Suddenly, a shadow passed over the full moon, but it is not a cloud nor is it more Entelorn fae. I look up and see the dark wings of the Disori beating over the pale full moon. My eyes widen as they fly towards me. I dive for the lake, rushing to reach it. A male Disori fae clad in gold and black blocks my path.
“Hello Ocean. Lovely night isn’t it?” a malicious smile appears over his black lips. I take this moment to fly under him and reach the lake. Underneath the water’s surface, I concentrate on the sounds coming from above me.
Many Entelorn fae are trying to flee from the Disori. I see the Life’s attack beam shoot out and hit the main Disori fae, Death. As you may have guessed, the Disori, or dark fae, are the Entelorn’s sworn enemy. The war between the two races has been going on for centuries, even before I was born, which was two hundred years ago (we age slowly). The only living Disori that turned Entelorn was my cousin, Ebony. Death disowned him as his son and Ebony is forced to hide in the Entelorn Palace until the war has ended.
Death’s shimmering black beam came through the water and hit me, making me rise up against my will. I scream and squirm trying to break free but it was no use. His power was too strong for a young fae like me to overcome.
When I break through the surface of the water, I look at the Disori surrounding me. The only Entelorn fae I see is Life. I cry out to him but he is trying hard to break Death’s beam to hear my cries. I could feel my energy being drained. If any race of fae looses too much energy, it dies. I close my eyes and call my fellow Entelorn to help. When I open them, over 100 of them are near. Many of the Disori fled, including Death. The few who stayed behind burst into dust. If there are more Entelorn than Disori, the Disori’s energy decreases deeply and vice versa.
I am too weak to fly on my own, so I fall. Heat catches me and sets me on the ground safely. He tries to let me stand on my own, but I nearly collapse so he holds me by my shoulders.
“Can you transform?” he asks.
“I think so…” I say weakly. I concentrate on transforming back into my human form. It takes longer than usual but my blue hair turns back to brown; my wings disappear; my dress fades into jeans and a t-shirt; my eyes turn hazel. I am the only fae who was in human form. Heat transforms into his human form, a red head, freckled boy with brown eyes, so I would feel more comfortable. It wouldn’t matter if he stayed in his fae form or not; I am comfortable seeing fae in my human form. Fae and human’s have different reactions to certain things. Fae rarely see humans in their fae form so they are uncomfortable and humans never see fae as they really are so they wouldn’t believe their own eyes if they ever did.
Life approaches me and I feel some of his energy flowing into me. Not so much but enough so I am able to walk over to the water and collect energy from it. Being the Fae of Water, water gives me energy. By the time I collect enough to gain as much energy as I had before, most of the Entelorn have transformed. Flower, Wind and Heat approach me by the water’s edge. Wind--who’s human name is Winifred-wraps her arms around me and starts to weep. Flower and Heat--human names Fiona and Harvey--guided us over to the main clearing. As we sat down on a log, a sudden thought hit me: I had completely forgotten about Daren!
“I have to go. Daren is still out there.” I transform back into my fae form and fly fast over the dark forest. I can see the start of sunrise. Out of Daren’s sight, I transform back into my human form, and then walk up to him. He is awake, and waiting for me.
“You’re back.” He says.
“Yes.” I try not to look worried but can’t manage to.
“Ormanda? What’s wrong?” He stands up, concerned. “What happened?”
“Nothing. Nothing happened.” I reply a little too quickly. “Let’s go.”
He gives me another concerned look before following me toward the car. When we get to my house, we say good-bye and I crawl back into my room through my window.
“Ormanda? You there? Hello?!?!” I reach over and hit the speaker button on my phone.
“What do you want, Winnie?” I sleepily say.
“Just to see if you’re alright...you are, aren’t you? You seemed kind of odd last night; right after the Disori left and you got your energy back.” She says very quickly. I sit up in my bed and look around my room. Everything is in order.
Lesigenet: The Andromedian Earth
The Lesigenet year was 3050. The inhabitants of the planet Lesigenet, located near the center of the Andromeda galaxy, had wanted for centuries to prove there was life other than their own in the universe. In the year 2200, they discovered a medium-sized yellow star they named Fion. It was over 2,000,000 light years away from Lesigenet.
The Earth year was 2050. Earthlings had discovered what Andromeda was (the closest major galaxy to the Milky Way) in the late 20th Century. Never being able to travel past out of their solar system, the Earthlings hadn’t discovered Lesigenet’s Red Dwarf Sun, which the Lesigenet’s called Tediar.
Lesigenet was a planet that looked like a red Neptune but had the atmosphere of Earth, which was capable of holding life. It was the size of Saturn and had rings like Uranus but held the orbit length of Venus. Since Tediar was a Red Dwarf, the whole planet had a dim red light.
Lesigenet had three moons. The Lesigenet’s called them Midar, Smertios, and Danu. Midar was like Mercury, no atmosphere, all hard rock and but not covered with craters. It was about as big as the Earth. Smertios was like Jupiter’s satellite, Callisto. Covered with craters and smaller than Mercury, Smertios was almost an exact replica of Callisto. Danu was another story. The satellite was bigger than Jupiter’s moon, Ganymede, which was the biggest moon in Tediar’s solar system. The Lesigenet’s didn’t know that Tediar had any planets orbiting around it. As far as they knew, only Lesigenet and its twin planet Sigmunafund were the only planets to exist.
Sigmunafund was like a second Venus. The atmosphere was so thick you could never see to the surface. The Lesigenet's were so updated in technology that they had been able to see through the clouds to the surface by the nineteenth century (eighteenth century, AKA 1700s, in Earth time). Sigmunafund had a ring system like Uranus and was about the same size as Lesigenet. Sigmunafund and Lesigenet shared Midar as a satellite, which orbited around the two planets at the same time in the shape of the infinity symbol. The twins had the same orbit. They orbited around Tediar like two sisters skipping around holding hands, never switching places. Lesigenet was a little bit more ahead than Sigmunafund, so the planet still got sunlight. Only being as far away as the Moon is from the Earth, they were always in each other’s sky view. Sigmunafund was closer to Tediar than Lesigenet was.
Lesigenet’s were obsessed with the way their small solar system worked. Every Lesigenet knew everything about their small solar system by the time they were five years old. All Lesigenet were intelligent. On Lesigenet, you never heard of an unintelligent Lesigenet.
The people that roamed Lesigenet were what humans would define as “paranormal creatures;” mostly vampires, fairies, angels, and goblins. Only difference was that the “vampires” didn’t drink blood, “fairies” didn’t glow or grant wishes, “angels” weren’t from heaven and “goblins” didn’t have bad skin. It was like the high school clique system; vampires hung out together, as did fairies as did angels, etc.
The vampires were called Sumua’s. Only awake during the night, they protected the other Lesigenet when they were asleep, like night guardians.
The fairies, or Perkes’, were the ones who protected the Sumua when they were sleeping during the day. Using their magnificent wings to fend off the Namine, a creature Earthlings would say was a small dragon.
The Namine were the ones who protected the angels from the Perkes.
Angels were called Goopae. The Namine, the Perkes and the Goopae were the only ones on Lesigenet who had wings and could fly for long periods of time (the Sumua could fly but it was more like a huge jump from point A to point B). The Perkes and Goopae were almost always fighting with each other and irritating the other races, especially the Hieodan, the goblin-type race.
The Hieodan were the closest to humans, although they lived in caves. They looked more human than the other races except for the Sumua, but those were hardly ever seen by other Lesigenet other than the Perkes. The Hieodan were the ones who ran things, sort of like a government. They had the jobs and held the planet together. They ran the economy system; what we would call glass would be their money. Unlike most governments on Earth, Lesigenet’s government was loved dearly by their fellow people. They were respected very greatly.
